304H Stainless Steel Pipe (UNS S30409) is a modification of the
most widely utilized "18-8" chromium-nickel austenitic stainless
steel. 304H Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe is an austenitic
chromium-nickel steel alloy and the greater carbon content delivers
an increased tensile and yield strength. SA312 TP304H Tubing is an
economical and versatile corrosion resistant alloy suitable for a
wide range of general purpose applications. AISI 304H Tube can be
easily welded and processed by standard shop fabrication practices.
SS 304H Seamless Tube has improved machinability characteristics.
Stainless Steel 304H Seamless Tubing does not perform well in more
highly reducing environments such as those containing chlorides and
sulfuric acid. SS 304H Erw Pipe is not recommended for service in
marine environments.
